Studio is Finished for another year

It has been another wonderful year at the U. I am even a little sad that this year is coming to an end. But I can already feel the weight being lifted off my shoulders. One more Theory paper and then Graduation. The house is clean and Dugan and I are having lots of fun together. Time to move all our stuff back from the school. It's a good thing we have a week. : ) Lots of fun summer post to come. (Well that is if it stops snowing and the wind stops blowing). I will count my blessings and name them one by one.

What has been happening?

I have had a lot happen since the last post but I don't think I have very many followers and those I do will probably already know these things but I will post it anyway.

On March 24th I found out that Dugan and I were both accepted to the Masters Architecture Program. We are so excited and are grateful for all the prayers that were said in our behalf. Thank you, Thank you

It was close to my Birthday and I will consider it one of my best birthday presents ever.

It was over spring break so two days after we found out we headed to Vegas for our traditional trip to Vegas.

I went and saw "How to Train Your Dragon" with my beautiful niece Emma.
Spent lots of fun time with Family.
Did lots of Homework.
Ate delicious birthday cake.

Didn't want to come home and start school again on Monday Which happened to be my birthday. Had a bad day at school. My sweet Friend Jen was there to go with me to dinner and make the night special. (Dugan was really busy at work)

Carrie Clark

Here is to my BFF Carrie.
I Love her to death and hope she had a wonderful Birthday.
I won't rewrite about our weekend because I already did but happy Birthday BFF.

Portland and Seattle

I had a little time and thought I should post about mine and Dugan's trip to Portland and Seattle a few weeks ago.

Triple Chocolate Donut from VooDoo Donuts in Portland
(Yes those are coco puffs on top)
This beautiful waterfall and Gardens is on the corner of one of the blocks in Seattle.
Char and Dug
Steven Holls Chapel
The Space Needle
Dugan is in love with Corten Steel. There was a large sculpture made of Corten so we thought we would take a picture of us in it.
Frank Gehry's Music Project
We had a wonderful time and saw more things then we could ever share.

Wonderful Weedend

This weekend has been wonderful. On Saturday I had a Relief Society brunch where I sang with two other women and we sang "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" I sang 2nd soprano which is by far the hardest part, but it sounded beautiful. Then Dugan and I hung out with our friends Jim and Carrie and got to see there cute kids. Then D and Jim took the kids to Grandma's while Carrie and I got ready. We went to dinner at Takashi where we had delicious scallops and Hot but Yummy Sushi. Wasabi makes your head feel so weird. Dugan ordered a roll that made him actually break a sweat he was glistening. We then went to Keys on Main. I love dueling pianos. We left after 1 am and then went to get a midnight snack at this 24 hour place just down the street. We got home way to late. The whole night was dedicated to my BFF Carrie. HaPpY BiRtHdAy. We had a wonderful time. Then we slept in and I went to church. I Love church. Dugan has been suffering with allergies in the morning so he opted out today. After Church my sis Ashten and her cute family came to get us and we had Brunch at this really popular diner. I had an amazing Crab and Avocado omelette and Dugan had Banana Walnut French Toast made by using banana walnut bread with fresh banana and walnuts on top. It was Heavenly. Its a good thing I work out everyday at least 1-2 hours after eating that meal. Those calories will be gone by tomorrow. We then took Ashten's cute little boy to play at the park. Heavenly Father thank you for this beautiful Spring day. I have been missing the sun. Dugan and I came home and have just been hanging out. I have been working on my scrapbook and it looks pretty impressive. Spring break has just started and I like where it is going.

Spring Break is here

This past week has been a little off. I blame it on Daylight Savings. You think one hour wouldn't do much but let me tell you it has. It was so hard to focus on school this week with spring break coming and grad school letters being mailed out next week. I got a 90% on the test I had on Wednesday at least my brain was kind of functioning. The design of the Culinary Art School is coming along. My Birthday is coming up. Life is pretty Good!

The Chefs are in our House

That's right ladies and gentleman. On Friday Dugan and I were looking for something fun to do and we had to stop by Costco. We ended up buying a few pounds of Alaskan King Crab legs and stuffed salmon. We headed home and got to work in the kitchen. We made some scrumptious seafood. The best part is for our Architecture studio class we are suppose to try cooking something new. I didn't really know what to try because I cook a lot and I have tried a lot of things. So we had a fun night and it counted as homework. Pic to come.
