The Merry Merry Month of May. Oh no where did you go.

May has been A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!!

The day after Graduation my mother, sister and I did the Race for the Cure. I loved it. It is crazy to see how many people come out for it. You look in front of you and there are tonz of people and then you look in front of you and there are tonz of people. We were closer to the beginning. I am pretty sure there were people starting the race when we were finishing because there were so many people.
My fav. catch phrases from the race

Running to save second base
Tu tus for ta tas
We love boobies big or small even if there's none at all and the best one
Of course there fake the real ones tried to Kill me

After the race we went out as a family to Celebrate. EVERYTHING there was to celebrate and let me tell you there was lots to Celebrate. (Graduation, Mother's Day, Dad's new job, Dugan and Chris Birthday's, Ashten's promotion, etc)
It was a Wonderful Day.

On Mother's Day Dugan and I went to church with my parents and had a nice time hanging out with them.

Graduation

Dugan and I now have our Bachelors in Science in Architecture.
I woke up early and was getting really excited and kept thinking about when I graduated from high school. Dugan had to go into work for a few hours before graduation. He got home about an hour before we had to leave and wasn't feeling well at all. My parents, sister and her boy Liam came. Right after walking across the stage to receive our diplomas (ok just the covers) Dugan told me he thought he better go. I couldn't believe it. We never get sick and here he was at graduation not feeling well. After it was all over I went and introduced my parents to some of my professors. Then we headed to my house and I made yummy sandwiches. When we got home we found out that Dugan had thrown up twice right outside the building 30 sec after he left. Poor guy! He said it could have been really bad if he threw up setting in his seat. We had a nice afternoon then had a quite night at home. We are so excited about this milestone in our life and look forward to going back for our Masters in the fall. Thanks for all the Love and Support.

For all you Mothers...

This is wonderful please read it.

THE NEXT SURVIVOR SERIES

Six married men will be dropped on an island with one car and 3 kids each for six weeks.
Each kid will play two sports and take either music or dance classes.
There is no fast food.
Each man must take care of his 3 kids; keep his assigned house clean, correct all homework, complete science projects, cook, do laundry, and pay a list of 'pretend' bills with not enough money.
In addition, each man will have to budget enough money for groceries each week.
Each man must remember the birthdays of all their friends and relatives, and send cards out on time--no emailing.
Each man must also take each child to a doctor's appointment, a dentist appointment and a haircut appointment.
He must make one unscheduled and inconvenient visit per child to the Emergency Room.
He must also make cookies or cupcakes for a school function.
Each man will be responsible for decorating his own assigned house, planting flowers outside, and keeping it presentable at all times.
The men will only have access to television when the kids are asleep and all chores are done.
The men must shave their legs,
wear makeup daily,
adorn themselves with jewelry,
wear uncomfortable yet stylish shoes,
keep fingernails polished,
and eyebrows groomed
During one of the six weeks,
the men will have to endure severe abdominal cramps, backaches, headaches, have extreme, unexplained mood swings but never once complain or slow down from other duties.
They must attend weekly school meetings and church, and find time at least once to spend the afternoon at the park or a similar setting.
They will need to read a book to the kids each night and in the morning, feed them, dress them, brush their teeth and comb their hair by 7:30 am.
A test will be given at the end of the six weeks, and each father will be required to know all of the following information: each child's birthday, height, weight, shoe size, clothes size, doctor's name, the child's weight at birth, length, time of birth, and length of labor, each child's favorite color, middle name, favorite snack, favorite song, favorite drink, favorite toy, biggest fear, and what they want to be when they grow up.
The kids vote them off the island based on performance.

The last man wins only if...he still has enough energy to be intimate with his spouse at a moment's notice.

If the last man does win, he can play the game over and over and over again for the next 18-25 years, eventually earning the right to be called Mother!

Why is it that I go Crazy AFTER it's all over

This is a question I often ask myself at the end of every semester. Between a few days and even up to a week after my big Studio project is finished I go CRAZY. This usually consist of me having a complete melt down which may or may not happen once, twice or maybe even three times. I have decided that it is just my bodies way of coming off the severe stress. It is not fun. This time it even feels a little more intense because there are extra emotions present. On Friday I will be graduating. Which is wonderful but also means that there are people who are not coming back for there Master's. It is crazy to live and breath with the same 43 students for TWO YEARS and then in one day we all wish one another good luck in there life and then they are gone. Maybe if I write about this now I will be better prepared for Friday. I know I am a nerd and get close with almost everyone I meet. (I should say if they let me) It makes me think back to High School Graduation (which was a long time ago) I was very happy that day but Change can be hard and it was then too. Well anyway it has just been one of those days when the emotions are running high and I am just not sure how or what to feel. But the Sun will come out tomorrow (this is Utah so I should say) I hope the Sun is suppose to come out tomorrow. I have fun things happening tomorrow that I will share later.

Studio is Finished for another year

It has been another wonderful year at the U. I am even a little sad that this year is coming to an end. But I can already feel the weight being lifted off my shoulders. One more Theory paper and then Graduation. The house is clean and Dugan and I are having lots of fun together. Time to move all our stuff back from the school. It's a good thing we have a week. : ) Lots of fun summer post to come. (Well that is if it stops snowing and the wind stops blowing). I will count my blessings and name them one by one.

What has been happening?

I have had a lot happen since the last post but I don't think I have very many followers and those I do will probably already know these things but I will post it anyway.

On March 24th I found out that Dugan and I were both accepted to the Masters Architecture Program. We are so excited and are grateful for all the prayers that were said in our behalf. Thank you, Thank you

It was close to my Birthday and I will consider it one of my best birthday presents ever.

It was over spring break so two days after we found out we headed to Vegas for our traditional trip to Vegas.

I went and saw "How to Train Your Dragon" with my beautiful niece Emma.
Spent lots of fun time with Family.
Did lots of Homework.
Ate delicious birthday cake.

Didn't want to come home and start school again on Monday Which happened to be my birthday. Had a bad day at school. My sweet Friend Jen was there to go with me to dinner and make the night special. (Dugan was really busy at work)
