Dugan my sweet bag holder

While in Vegas Dugan and I went shopping. It was so nice to really Go Shopping. I haven't been real shopping for a few years. Over the past few weeks I have bought 2 or 3 things but I am looking forward to enjoying getting extra creative and mixing the new with the old. When Dugan and I decided to go to Vegas I decided that, that is where I would shop. We had a really fun time and I got some super cute and unique things. I should thank Dugan for carrying all my bags. He was super sweet the whole time.

Surprise in Vegas

Dugan and I had just planned our trip to Ceder City when we received an invitation to our Sister-in-Law's baby shower in Vegas. We decided that it would be fun to plan a Surprise visit. The shower was at 11:00 on Saturday so we showed up right in time. It was a really fun shower. The theme was Star Wars and my Brother-in-law had some great idea's. He even put labels by the food with fun names. After the shower we went swimming.

This is a Picture of the Diaper Cake I made for the baby shower.

Family in Ceder

Dugan and I went down to Ceder City on Thursday. We had a wonderful time with my family. We got to see my Grandpa and Grandma Taysom, my parents, Ashten, Chris and Liam. While we were there I saw Fiddler on the Roof and Dugan and I saw Taming of the Shrew. We were only there till Saturday morning. Thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fun time.

Here is Ashten and Liam playing in the Children's area of the Ceder City Library.

All my Fav pictures from Ceder are on my mom's camera so maybe I can post them later.

Wal-Mart brings out the Brat in Me

Ok so Dugan and I always say that we will consider ourselves successful when we no longer have to shop at Wal-mart. Every two weeks when we go shopping there we HATE it. The ales are crowded the other people who are shopping just drive you crazy. But I am sure that we all agree that the waiting in line is the worse. So today I had to make a Quick (haha) trip to pick up 3 things. I will try to explain this the best I can. So you know how there can be two checkout stands one closer and the others tapered with it. So you actually have two lines but the one looks longer because the actual checkout stand is back farther. Anyway hopefully you know what I am talking about. So I see this long line and there is the checkout stand that is closer to the door and the line has two people so I excuse myself past the people standing in front of me in line to go to the other checkout stand. Then a man in line stops me and starts yelling at me and saying that they had one line for both check stands ( maybe he has never shopped at wal-mart). So I go to the back of the line. As I glance over to the two checkout stands that look just like ours I see that there are Two separate lines. I said under my breath to the women a head of me that those other two checkout stands had separate lines. She glares at me and says it's because they have more room. I saw new costumer who had gone in from the side get in the short line I had tried to get in to in the first place. So that was it I was moving lines and I was going to show the dumb people in front of me how the checkout stands work so I moved to the other short line next to the first one. I had two wait less then a minute. As the cashier scanned at my groceries I looked back to see the line I had just left had still not moved. I paid and as I picked up my groceries I looked back and shrugged with a smile on my face. I realize I was really being a brat. But maybe next time they wont yell at someone and use the lines properly. I hate that I felt so good after but karma bits.

When did I have kids?.... Oh wait, they are not mine

Last week I felt young again. It was babysitting week for me. It seemed as if everyone had plans except for me. So I got to be the babysitter. Last Tuesday was our good friend Jim’s birthday so I watched Jimmy and Katie for a few hours. Jimmy is 3 and Katie is almost 8 weeks. It went pretty well. Jimmy and I played lots of fun imaginary games with monsters and bad guys. He was very careful to make sure that the monsters didn’t get baby Katie. Then on Saturday I watched Liam my little sister Ashten’s baby. He is 9 months old so he was crawling everywhere. He was pretty good till he got hungry and I knew I was suppose to feed him but I wasn’t sure what the formula powder to water ratio was suppose to be so he had a lot of those “Puffs” till I talked to my sister and found out how to mix his formula. He was a great kid after he ate. Well all and all it wasn’t too bad. They are fun to barrow but it defiantly reminds me why Dugan and I are waiting a while longer before we have any children of our own.

That’s right I’m a House Wife and a College Student

Sorry I haven’t posted in a bit. There hasn’t been anything that I have pic of that has happened recently. Dugan and I have just been working lots and making sure that everything at home is totally organized before school starts. Well everything is in order and there are many of you who would envy our organized closets. They are beautiful, so beautiful in fact that I might just have to take a pic and post it. Plus after a little trial and error I have come up with a wonderful recipe and grocery plan. I have worked out what to make on what night. I have grocery list for each two week block of shopping and I have enough different things that we won’t get board on food that is for sure. It will be nice when school starts to have everything ready so I just have to cook and not think about it. Plus it really helps you eat healthy and stay on a budget when everything has already been planned out.

Happy 4th of July

On the 4th of July we got up early so we could go and see the Hot air Balloons take off and have a pancake breakfast. Then we went to the Parade. My mom has the pic form that but here are some from the rest of the day.

Liam was so cute at the Parade he was sitting there clapping and rolling around. A little over half way through he fell asleep. He was out cold on the Blanket. We had to put him on Ashten's back to walk to the car. His arm is suppose to be in the whole but he kept taking it out. He is very SLEEPY.

Ashten with Liam on her back. You can tell she is super strong. Liam is 20lbs.

Some Pictures of Liam while we cooked our BBQ.

Liam playing with a puppet that looks like his real dog Shady.

He is so cute. He is thinking about crawling.

He loves his Aunt Char. Look at that smile he is giving me.

Grandma gave him the dishes to make poached egg's in to play as cymbal's. He is pretty good. Maybe he should have been in the parade.

Dugan and I waiting for the Fireworks to start.

Happy 4th of July. I love AMERICA!
